Diving – Muscat The waters of Oman represent an underwater paradise for diving & snorkelling with its wide variety of marine flora and fauna. Huge table corals, beautiful black coral, colourful whip and teddy bear corals abound while the fish ranging from the little cleaner wrasse to the enormous whale shark jostle for attention. The Gulf of Oman provides for excellent tropical Coral Sea diving and is home to 85 genera of hard and soft corals and 900 species of fish. In fact, so numerous and varied is the fish population here that new species are still being discovered and identified! At Gulf Leisure Diving we offer safe, comfortable and professional diving. Barra Jissa – A shallow area of up to 15 metres in depth, this site has plenty of cuttlefish, spiny lobster and the odd turtle has been spotted.
Bandar Khayran – A maze of rocky outcrops, deserted beaches and small islands only accessible by boat. The underwater scenery has stunning rock falls, picturesque walls and reefs festooned with colourful arrays of coral and tropical fish.
Fahal Island – The Shark Island offers the greatest variety of coral in one area in the whole of Muscat. Black tip reef sharks, rays and turtles are met regularly.

Diving – Daymaniyat Islands Daymaniyat Islands – Wild and untouched, this string of nine uninhabited islands offers a protected sanctuary for migrating birds, pristine coral gardens, reefs, walls, abundant fish life, turtles, rays and various sharks including leopard sharks which are only found here. The whale shark is also a frequent visitor here.
